Creating your YV username

Your YV Forum username is the unique name you use to identify yourself on the YV forum. For example, you might use your favourite film character, a colour, or occupation.

For example, If you are a teacher and like to collect toys, your username might be:

• school_teacher_trains
• teddybear4kids
• EducationToys2000

Tip: Because spaces are not allowed, use a hyphen to represent a space in your username.

Remember that User IDs:

• May contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and/or some symbols.
• Must be at least two characters long.
• Can't contain spaces.
• Can't be obscene or profane.
• Can't be an email address or Web address.

Things you can't include:

• The @, &, ', <, or > symbols.
• URLs (example: xyz.com).
• Consecutive underscores "__"
• An underscore "_", dash "-", or period "." at the beginning of a YV Forum username.
• Spaces or tabs.

Note: If you received the message: "YV Username Invalid," you may have included a character that is not allowed in a username, such as !, #, £, %, and &
