Simon Wrigley will speak about conficence building and assertiveness. Simon spoke at our 'To Work or Not To Work' event in Leeds in Autumn 2006 and was a popular speaker.

Maggie Pickard of Extend will present a session on how to maintain and improve mobility. Maggie conducted a similar workshop at our 'Ageing Disgracefully' which was very well received.

Geoff Wright will speak about his experiences as a Shopmobility volunteer and also about his fundraising scooter jounney from john O'Groats to land's End.

Paul Manning, YV committee member and current Chair of the committee will speak about journey planning for train and coach travel.

There will also be information available for people to take away on:

 • The British Disabled Flying Association
 • National Association of Bikers with Disabilities
 • List of Driving Assessment Centres
